The Morning After

Your eyes beckon me
To walk right in
I relish the opportunity
Consuela, my darling.

Your smile’s presence is panoramic
I can sit and take it in
All day
Every single day.

The sun’s descent
Dances the twilight away
Holding hands with consent
Nudity showed little fear.

I became your prisoner
Be merciful
You’re a ravenous tiger
Late for supper.

Call me Smirky
Whatever you call me
Give credit to Consuela.
