Two Becomes One.

When two becomes one
There’s a special bond
Gaining a strong foothold,
Give it time to unfold.
Soon will pass
The rose-tinted glass,
Buckle-up naïve darling
Bumpy rides are coming.
Those swooning butterflies
Starry eyes
Might feel unrelenting pain,
But not extinguish the flame.
Sacrifice and flexibility
Should be
Employed tools,
Along with some agreeable rules
Early this morning
I met the tears of my bubbly darling,
We quickly sorted it out
For us, there’s no going back to one.
