Passionate Romantics

The fever’s subtle
Somewhere in the middle
There’s a purple rose
Fingers around – juxtapose.
Tears of joy
Girl and boy
Share a beating heart
Who can tell them apart?
Throughout the day
Their passion’s in play
For each other
Night-time, things move slower.
Love sits on magnets
Riverboats for romantics
They’re going in one direction
Eyes see a reflection.
There isn’t a cure
Once in the door
That’s it!
We never quit.
